Typh Barrow Sings in French, Finally
Typh Barrow has spent her career singing in English. With "Trop fort", released on a Friday in October, she has written and recorded her first song in French.
The song grew out of a private moment. In an Instagram post, she described sitting down at the piano one evening in March 2026, a few days before the premiere of Dreama at the Forum de Liège. She let the words come, tears included, without editing them. She meant it to exist only for the people in the room that night. Audiences responded so strongly that she decided to release it, Paris Match Belgique reports.
The track will appear on Dreama Deluxe, a reissue of her fourth album. It continues the change of direction she began with Dreama, when she said she wasn't disowning her past work but wanted to move forward. The article also mentions two other French-language titles.
Out now: "Trop fort". *Dreama Deluxe* is due in November.
